Leaderboard Rules & Ranking System

Outfounders is a transparent public leaderboard where founders and builders turn their name into distribution. There are no ads, no algorithms, and no revenue share. Founders compete for live attention and maximum visibility for their personal brand and products.
How Ranking Works
- Pricing Structure: Bids are whole US dollars, $1 minimum, up to $999,999, placed in $1 increments. Bids already on the board keep their amount until raised or outranked.
- Taking Rank #1: Claiming the #1 spot costs at least $1 more than the current top bid.
- Taking Any Other Rank: Outranking any other spot (#2, #3, etc.) costs at least $1 more than that position's current total. Paying less than needed for #1 still places you on the board at whatever rank your bid supports.
- Tie-Breaker Rule: Equal bids stay in the chronological order they were placed — the older bid always keeps the higher rank.
- Raising Your Rank: Enter your same X @handle anytime to raise your listing to a higher rank. The new bid must be at least $1 above your current total; you only pay the difference. Someone else cannot claim your rank by merely paying that difference.
What You Can List
Every founder profile on Outfounders is a dedicated showcase of your indie journey:
- Your verified X / Twitter @handle as your primary builder identity.
- Your live SaaS products, dev tools, web apps, or mobile applications (up to 9 products per profile).
- Your verified website and social links (LinkedIn, GitHub, Personal Portfolio).
- Your traction metrics and monthly revenue milestones (e.g. $42,500 MRR).
Prohibited Links & Content
- No Chat / Invite Links: Telegram groups, WhatsApp channels, Discord servers, and messaging groups are strictly prohibited. The board is for real products and builder profiles.
- No Adult / NSFW Content: Sexual, pornographic, or adult platforms are not permitted on the board.
- No Affiliate / Tracking URL Parameters: Query parameters and tracking strings are automatically stripped. Clean canonical URLs only.
- No Deceptive Link Shorteners: Link shortener URLs that obscure destinations are automatically replaced or rejected.
Persona & Identity Tags
You can assign up to 3 persona & identity tags to define your builder personal brand (e.g. #IndieHacker, #SaaSBuilder, #AIFounder, #Designer, #Maker). If you need help updating your profile or tags, reach out to @amir_maker on 𝕏.
After You Pay
- Your founder capsule and products are published live immediately across the leaderboard.
- A completed payment is what officially secures the rank. All payments are final and non-refundable.
- Paying means you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
